A Hoarding of Human Detachment
(2023) @ Copeland Gallery, Peckham, London, UK

Photo Installation, A2 / Group Exhibition

Humans, whether consciously or unconsciously, are romantics in that we often find ourselves assigning a priceless value to objects we possess. This series explores the relationship between human and object along with our attachment to things, then over time, our detachment to them, resulting in our selling or giving away of these objects that eventually find their way to charity shops, now lingering and awaiting a new life.

Each image is meant to be investigated closely as this series is an ode to the life each object has had however short or long, adored or loathed by its owner, but in all was a part of one’s home.

wherewereu (2017) @ Chinatown Soup, Chinatown, New York, NY

Photo Installation, A3, Projected Film / Solo Exhibition

My first photo series, entitled “wherewereu,” explores the demise of the relationship that I had with my father when I was younger.

Each photograph of the series emulates a feeling I experienced at the time. The project ultimately evokes a positive feeling of closure, acceptance of the past, and determination to move forward.

‍Along with my photo series, I wrote and directed a short film that was projected.
